Música als Parcs From 02/06/2011 To 24/08/2011 Venue: Various Música als Parcs (Music in the Park) is an initiative sponsored by the city council of Barcelona offering free concerts in some of Barcelona’s most attractive parks during he summer months. Starting in June two cycles run through the summer. A jazz cycle runs from June to August on Wednesdays and Fridays in the Ciutadella park from 10pm, located in front of the fountains. Another cycle starts in July, a group of young musicians perform a varied classical program on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in various parks throughout the city. The Barcelona municipal band also play on some Thursdays, mostly classics such as Gershwin’s West Side Story. |
