Barcelona VisualSound festival is celebrated every winter and combines various visual arts including audiovisual, animation, web and music, with free educational activities offered in all these areas.

Several municipal Barcelona local councils will be hosting activities in civic centres as part of the festival over a period of ten days. These will cover the following areas: animation, original soundtrack (OST), web design, social documentary, fiction and video.
