The Universitat Ramblas II Apartment is a luxury 2 bedroom apartment in the very heart of Barcelona, next to Las Ramblas, Plaça Catalunya and Rambla Catalunya.

This is a beautiful apartment, light, open and modern with an exceedingly high standard of decoration and fixtures and fittings. The interior design reflects the high standards of design which Barcelona is famous for, the apartment is decorated in a delightful palette of white and warm greys combined with lots of mid-tone wood.

Furthermore this apartment has recently been completely renovated so everything within it is completely brand new.

The main living space is of a generous size and features a large modern L-shape sofa and a flat screen TV with satellite channels. The sofa can be folded out into a comfy and well sized double sofa bed, so with the two double bedrooms the apartment can accommodate up to 6 people. Thanks to a broad gallery window in the adjacent dining area, the living room receives lots of light. There is a very large wardrobe and storage unit in the living area so you can hang your coats, clothing and store away other belongings and suitcases. There is an air conditioning unit above the sofa, perfect for the summer heat in Barcelona. This also works as a heater for the few cold winter days in Barcelona. On the floor is an attractive beech wood parquet which is laid throughout the whole apartment.

The kitchen is part of the same main central space though is partly screened off, creating a pleasant balance between open plan living and distinct areas. This kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need including a dishwasher, washer / dryer, fridge / freezer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, plates, cups, glasses and cutlery. There is also an ironing board and hair dryer in the apartment.

The dining area is in a separate gallery area but is open to the living room. It features an attractive round modern dining table and four chairs, with 2 more folding chairs available. As well as a broad glass window which can be opened for an ‘al fresco’ style dining experience, there is an armchair with a coffee table, perfect for relaxing with a book or doing some work on your laptop. There is a free Wi-Fi connection.

There are two double bedrooms in the apartment. There is a double bed in the master bedroom, though it can be split into two singles if desired. To let the air in a pair of French doors can be opened onto a very small balcony. However there is an air conditioning unit as well, which also works as a heater for winter. In the second bedroom are two twin beds as well as a small desk. If you are travelling with a baby a cot can be made available upon request.

Last but not least there is an attractively fitted bathroom with a shower, sink and loo.
