Equipment
The Colon I-A apartment is located in wonderful historic building dating from the XVIII century, set in the heart of Barcelona. The building was recently renovated (the façade, the common areas and the inside). The apartment has a lift, and has an amazing view of the Port Vell and the Plaza Antonio López – a very famous square, also known as Plaza de Correos.
This apartment in Barcelona has been tastefully decorated in an elegant modern style. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The 130 m2 apartment is separated into two different areas which give the guests a feeling of independence. The area facing the exterior – Paseo Colon, is on the left side and it has a spacious dining-room and an open-plan kitchen, a large double bedroom with a queen size bed, a dressing room and an en-suite bathroom. On the right hand side, there are two more bedrooms; one of them has twin beds and the other room has a single bed. There is also an independent bathroom, perfect for use by the guests on this side of the apartment.
The dining-room, as well as the rest of the apartment, is very sunny and spacious. The high ceilings and the large window to the balcony give the apartment a very special bright and airy feel. The luxury open-plan kitchen is fully equipped and has new appliances, including microwave, vitroceramic, dishwasher and oven, all you need to make you feel at home.
The Colon building boasts an incredible rooftop for use by all guests, that includes expansive decked terraces on two levels with staggering views of the Port Vell of Barcelona and the Mediterranean, and a small but lovely swimming pool. This is the perfect place to unwind during your stay in Barcelona out in the open air - be it relaxing on a sun lounger with a cold drink and enjoying the view or the pool.

Fantastic apartment in a fantastic location. Loved how large it was, very light and airy with plenty of space for 5 of us. The roof-top pool and terrace was great. Very impressed with the security arrangements throughout the building. The staff were very helpful and friendly and everything was dealt with swiftly and efficiently. We had a wonderful holiday and really couldn't fault anything.
The smell from the bathroom in the mornings but appreciate that this is an old building and accepted this as part of the plumbing!

Wifi didn't work properly all days.
