The Poblenou 13 Beach apartment is on the first floor of a building in the Poblenou district of Barcelona, just 5 minutes walk from Barcelona’s beaches. This building is brand new and has a lift. Poblenou is close to the CCIB convention centre and the 22@ technology district, and only ten minutes metro ride to the historic city centre of Barcelona. Therefore this apartment is equally suitable for business trips or for tourism.

This Barcelona beach apartment is totally new and has been stylishly and practically decorated, the decoration features a touch of colour that gives the apartment lots of personality. All rooms in the apartment receive copious amounts of natural light thanks to large windows, creating an agreable sense of space, light and comfort.

The living / dining room is a generous size and is very light. The kitchen is part of the same space and is fully equipped for a self catering holiday in Barcelona. In this same room there is a double sofa bed, with which the apartment offers accommodation for up to 4 people. The apartment has a spacious and light double bedroom with ample wardrobe space. The bathroom is modern and spacious, with a walk in shower.

But the real beauty of this apartment lies in its spectacular exclusive and private 40 square metre terrace, accessed from within the apartment. This will allow you to enjoy Barcelona’s warm mediterranean climate, and is an ideal setting to relax in the sun and having a cold drink after a day at the beach or sightseeing, and is perfect for al fresco dining too.

Apart from the above, this apartment also features a free WiFi connection, a space in the building’s car park (which it is necessary to reserve beforehand at a cost of 15€ per day) and an additional communal terrace on the roof of the building with sea views, perfect to relax on after a long day’s sightseeing or business.

The Poblenou 13 Beach apartment is in the heart of the Poblenou district, just 5 minutes from Barcelona’s beaches.

The Poblenou district enjoys its own unique identity of which its inhabitants are very proud. In the past it was a very industrial area which grew at the end of the 19th century. Nowadays it is a very residential area with lots of life, and with all kinds of shops and an excellent market where you can find a variety of fresh produce, and many excellent restaurants offering traditional Catalan food and tapas, as well as contemporay cusine.

The building, which was recently completed, is on the corner of Calle Bilbao and Calle Amistat. Calle Amistat is quiet, narrow pedestrian street that leads to Rambla Poblenou – a small version of the famous Ramblas in the Gothic Quarter. Calle Bilbao is a very wide street that receives sun throughout the day and has gardens, a children‘s playground, and direct access to the beach. The Rambla Poblenou is a delightful street that is full of life that runs down to the sea with many bars and restaurants with terraces where you can sit in the open air and enjoy a cold beer and some of the best tapas in the city.

You can reach the beaches of Barcelona as well as the old part of Poblenou on foot from here. The beach is a great place to take the sun, go for a swim and relax and enjoy your time in Barcelona. You can also stroll along the beach promenade to the Port Olímpic (towards the city) or towards Diagonal Mar and the CCIB – Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (in the opposite direction).

The closest metro station to the apartment is Poblenou (Line 4 - yellow), just 300 metros from the apartament, which takes you in just ten minutes to historical centre of Barcelona (the Cathedral, Gothic Quarter and the Born).

Finally, this apartment is also an excellent choice for those visiting Barcelona for work or business, and who are searching for accommodation close to the technoplogy district of 22@ or to the CCIB – the location of numerous congresses and exhibitions.

The location, the Poblenou area (nice and quiet near the beach and still close enough to town via metro or foot). The airconditioning works very well. The sun on the roof terrace is very nice. The furniture (bed, tables, chairs) are all fine and in proper condition.

The dishwasher was broken unfortunately during the whole stay. The water does not flow away in the shower. The cleanness of thw apartment was nog great when we arrived. The tile above the cooking plate is loose and fell down a couple of times. There was only 1 wineglass when we arrived, but very good service, a couple of days later we received the wineglasses.

thanks to feelathome for our great stay. We enjoyed the terrace and the bars and restaurants around the apartment. Beaches are very close and metro Poblenou only two streets away.
