The Sant Antoni building is named after the Sant Antoni district it is located in, which is part of the Eixample neighbourhood. This apartment building offers eight apartments and is excellently positioned on the edge of the city centre, no more than 10 minutes walk from either Plaça Catalunya or Las Ramblas.

This building itself is a traditional Barcelona Eixample building dating from Barcelona’s golden art nouveau era. All of the apartments were fully refurbished recently, are modern in design and come ready prepared with everything you will need – towels, bed linen, cooking utensils, a fridge, a washing machine, air conditioning and heating and a TV, to name but a few. If you are travelling with a baby, a cot can be provided upon request in any of the apartments.

Sant Antoni is lively and has lots of character but is quieter at night than the nearby old town, which is only 5 minutes walk away. The Eixample is perfect for families as it is central yet mainly residential and has lots of shops, bars, restaurants and markets.

Location of Sant Antoni building

This is a bustling and lively neighbourhood by day, concentrated around a beautiful original Art Nouveau food market (el mercat Sant Antoni). The Sant Antoni market is the centre of the neighbourhood and is surrounded by lots of excellent restaurants, bakeries, shops and bars – everything you need for self catering is right on your doorstep.

Sant Antoni is situated right on the edge of the centre of Barcelona – Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas are no more than 10 minutes walk away and the Raval district is 2 minutes walk away where you can find the MACBA modern art museum. This is a colourful and lively neighbourhood, popular for its fashionable bars, restaurants and laid back lifestyle and the stroll through the Raval to Las Ramblas is interesting and enjoyable, with plenty of interesting places to explore, or stop for a coffee along the way.

One of the great advantages of this area is its centrality of this apartment, you won’t need to rely on public transport to see the sites of Barcelona. However should need it there are very good public transport connections nearb, with two different metro stations within 150 meters: Sant Antoni (line 2) and Poble Sec (line 3). Taking a train on one of these lines will deliver you to any other area of Barcelona in no more than 15 minutes.
