Situated in a quiet side street next to Barcelona’s medieval gothic cathedral, this apartment building is in prime position in Barcelona’s historic centre. From here you can explore the narrow medieval streets of the old town, or take a stroll on the famous Las Ramblas, which is just 5 minutes away.

Apartments in the Duran building are equipped with satellite TV, DVD and free Internet connection. There is air conditioning, and heating, though in Barcelona the winter is very mild.

Last but not least, on top of the building there is a roof terrace with decking and a small plunge pool, offering views over the cathedral and rooftops of the old town.

Location of Duran building

This Duran apartment building is located right in the centre of Barcelona, next to the Gothic Cathedral (Santa Eulalia, known to locals as ‘La Seu’) in the heart of the old town.

The old town of Barcelona is largely medieval though you will find Roman building remains as well. It is full of quaint side streets, plazas, interesting shops and wonderful bars and restaurants. Las Ramblas runs through the old town, it is just 5 minutes walk away. Most of the old town is pedestrian as the streets are too narrow for cars.

Also close by is the Portal de l’Àngel, one of the main shopping streets of Barcelona, it connects the Cathedral with Plaza Catalunya.

Though this is an excellent base to explore Barcelona on foot as you have so much close by, there is also transport nearby. The nearest metro station is Jaume I (L4 – Yellow Line), 100 meters away. Plaza Catalunya is also very close (L1 and L3 – Red and Green Line).
