Terms and conditions for booking and staying in an apartment

Please read our terms and conditions carefully when you book an apartment

Please read carefully the conditions involved in the booking of our apartments.



Method of payment:
The total amount corresponding to the booking of the apartment will be paid in the following way:
- During the online booking process, a booking deposit of 20% will be paid by credit card.
- The remaining balance of 80% will be paid in cash, and in euros, on arrival at the apartment and on signing the rental contract.

Deposit:
When the keys are handed over, a deposit of between 150 and 300 euros (depending on the apartment) must be paid in cash. This deposit is a guarantee to cover any possible breakages in the apartment that may be caused by incorrect usage or negligence on the part of the client.
This deposit will be returned in its entirety on departure from the apartment, once the contents inventory has been checked, we see that no damage has occurred and that the apartment is in a reasonable state of order and cleanliness.

Cleaning:
All bookings are charged with a one-off payment of between 30 and 60 euros to cover the thorough cleaning of the apartment before your arrival and the supply of clean sheets and towels.
If, during your stay, you require more frequent cleaning, we can provide an additional cleaning service at a cost of 10 €/hour and with a minimum of 2 hours at a time.

Cancellation policy:
If you cancel a booking you will be charged a cancellation fee which will depend on the timing of the cancellation, according to the following criteria:
- More than 30 days in advance: 20% of the total (equivalent to the amount paid for on-line booking)
- Between 15 and 30 days: 50% of the total.
- Less than 15 days: you will be charged 100% of the booking.

In the case of modifications to the dates of the booking which involve a reduction in the total number of days booked, you will be charged the percentages stated above based on the amount corresponding to the days cancelled. If you need to completely change the dates of the booking, this will be treated as a new booking and the full corresponding cancellation fees will be charged.

We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance which will cover all expenses incurred from the possible cancellation of the booking.

Cancellation by feelathomeinbarcelona.com:
If, due to circumstances beyond our control, we cannot provide the apartment booked, we will try to provide a similar or superior category of apartment. This situation will not, under any circumstances, imply any extra payment. In case the alternative apartment is not accepted, the amount paid as booking payment will be refunded inmediately.

Arrivals:
You can enter the apartment after 15:00. If, for any reason, you need to arrive earlier than this time, let us know and we will try to arrange it for you. Arrivals after 21:00 will be charged an extra fee of 30€.

Our staff will be waiting for you at the door of the apartment at the arranged time to welcome you and:
- Show you around the apartment.
- Hand over the keys.
- Explain to you how to use and work of all the equipment in the apartment.
- Formalize the rental contract between both parties.
- Receive payment of the balance due for the booking, and also the refundable breakage deposit.
- Answer any possible doubts or questions you may have.

In the case of being delayed and unable to arrive at the time arranged, we request that you contact us on the telephone number supplied during the booking process, in order to avoid unnecessary waiting.

Departures:
Departure from the apartment must be before 12:00 in order to give sufficient time for the cleaning and preparation of the apartment for the next occupants. If you need to leave the apartment later than this time, let us know and we will try to arrange it for you. Departures before 8:00 will be charged an extra fee of 30€.

Our staff will come to the apartment on the day and time arranged, in order to:
- Collect the keys to the apartment.
- Check the inventory of equipment, check there have been no breakages and that the apartment is in a reasonable state of order and cleanliness.
- Return of the breakage deposit if everything is in a satisfactory condition.

Stay:
During your stay you will have a telephone contact number for any doubts or questions that may arise about the apartment. If any problems are detected with the equipment or any damage accidentally occurs, please contact us immediately in order to solve the problem.

Number of occupants:
The use of the apartment by a greater number of occupants than that stated on the booking form, is strictly forbidden, except in the case of express authorization, and, where applicable, after payment of the supplement to the amount arranged.

In the case of infringement of this condition, feelathomeinbarcelona.com reserves the right to demand your immediate departure from the apartment and the termination of the contract, without any compensation or refund for this measure being carried out.

Furnishings and fittings:
All of our Barcelona apartments are decorated, furnished and fully-equipped with everything you may need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. In the description of each apartment you can see a list of all the fittings available. You will also find, in every apartment, a complete set of cutlery, crockery, tablecloths, towels and sheets at your disposition.

Behaviour:
Remember that you are going to enjoy your stay in Barcelona as part of a residential community, which makes it very important for you to respect the basic rules of neighbourliness which apply in any community.

In this sense, and with the intention of respecting neighbours, it is strictly forbidden to make excessive noise (organize parties, loud music, meeting in communal areas, etc...) The times which must be especially respected are those between 22:00 and 09:00.

In every apartment you will find a list of the specific rules which must be kept to during your stay. The breaking of these rules may lead feelathomeinbarcelona.com to ask you to vacate the apartment, with no right to compensation.

Pets:
As a general rule, pets are not allowed in any of our apartments. However, we suggest that you contact us and we will try to arrange something for you.

Responsibilities:
Neither feelathomeinbarcelona.com nor the owner of the apartment will be held responsible for any damage, direct or indirect, that may be caused by the use of the apartment or communal areas of the building, including, and with no limits, damage caused by fire, theft or other criminal conduct.

However, we promise to do everything possible to find a rapid and satisfactory solution to any incidents that may occur during your stay in Barcelona.

In the case of infringement of any of the points mentioned above, feelathomeinbarcelona.com reserves the right to cancel the leasing contract and demand that the apartment be vacated immediately, without this leading to any right to reclamation or compensation of any type.
