Smart City Expo World Congress is an international congress where over 200 speakers will discuss the future of the planet and the role cities will have in it.

The main topic of debate at this congress is the development of smart cities; these are cities which leave a small carbon footprint, and who optimise their use of resources, and produce a minimal quantity of waste.

This annual showcase will take place at La Fira de Barcelona from the 13th to the 15th of November 2012.
